Two Arrested After Youth Beaten to Death in Jorhat Rehab Centre

Two people, Bhargav Neog and Maina Kalita, were arrested after 22-year-old Debojit Neog was allegedly beaten to death at a rehab centre in Jorhat on his birthday. Police suspect the facility operated without authorization. Eyewitnesses reported he was dragged in and assaulted. The victim’s family demanded a crackdown on illegal rehabilitation centres as investigations continue.
