Two arrested and seized gold bars worth Rs 34 lakh in Assam

According to a police officer on Saturday, two people were detained after suspected smuggled gold bars worth about Rs 34 lakh were found in their possession.

According to him, it is believed that the gold, which was seized on Friday during a special operation, was brought into the country illegally from Bangladesh via Meghalaya.
