Two Dead After Falling Into Septic Tank in Barhampur

Two people died in Barhampur, Nagaon, after falling into an under-construction septic tank on Thursday. Worker Sayed Razak Mohammad fell in while removing wooden planks and died from suffocation. Homeowner and Assam Police Sub-Inspector Mantu Bordoloi attempted to rescue him but also died. Police and SDRF recovered the bodies, and an investigation is underway.
