Two Foreign Nationals Die in Suspected Electrocution at Bengaluru Five-Star Hotel

Bengaluru, October 31: Two foreign nationals, identified as German citizen Alexander Maximilian Theiss (57) and Slovakian national Juraj Horvat (45), died following suspected electrocution at the swimming pool of the five-star Conrad Hotel in Bengaluru on Friday evening. The incident occurred at the hotel’s third-floor swimming pool.

A US national, Mathew Desantis (41), and Indian pool attendant Rahul Tiwari (28) sustained injuries while attempting to rescue the victims. Both were admitted to Manipal Hospital and are reportedly out of danger. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
