Two Killed as Truck Hits Wedding Bus in Assam’s Goalpara

Two persons were killed and several others injured after a truck rammed into a stationary wedding passenger bus at Budhipara under Agia Police Station in Goalpara district early Wednesday. The deceased were identified as Naresh Das and Rabi Das. The bus had stopped on National Highway 17 following a dispute between the bride’s and groom’s families, during which some members went to the police station. Police rushed the injured to hospital and are investigating the incident.
