Two Killed in Tragic Road Accident on Supermarket Flyover, Guwahati

A tragic road accident occurred on the Supermarket flyover in Guwahati on Sunday, resulting in the death of a Rapido driver and a pillion rider.

Sources confirmed that an unknown vehicle collided with the bike from behind before fleeing the scene. The driver, Ranjit Rajbongshi (24) from Nalbari, died instantly. The woman rider was rushed to GMCH but was declared dead upon arrival. Her identity remains unknown.

The police have launched an investigation into the incident, and the bike’s registration number is AS-01 BU 7601.
