Two More Arrested in Bengaluru for Piracy of Zubeen Garg’s Film Roi Roi Binale

Two individuals, Md Saddam Hussain and Mousam Gogoi, were arrested in Bengaluru for allegedly circulating pirated copies of Zubeen Garg’s final film, Roi Roi Binale. Another accused, Md Rofidul Islam, had earlier been arrested in Kokrajhar for uploading clips on YouTube.

The arrests follow a complaint by producer Shyamantak Gautam and a state-ordered crackdown after pirated versions surfaced online soon after the film’s release on October 31. The makers said the piracy threatened the record-breaking commercial run and emotional value of the musical.
