Two Stray Tigers From Kaziranga Cause Panic in Kaliabor

Two tigers that strayed from Kaziranga National Park have created panic in Nagaon’s Kaliabor region. The Assam Forest Department, with environmental activist Dilip Nath, set traps on Saturday to capture the tigers, focusing on Sonari Gaon, where the animals have been most active. The tigers have been spotted near homes, leading to increased fear among locals. Over the past two months, they’ve killed over 40 animals, causing residents to lock up early and stay indoors. The forest department has temporarily banned pedestrian and two-wheeler movement in Kamakhya Gaon for safety.
