Udalguri Secures Key Positions in BTC Cabinet Expansion

Following the BTC cabinet expansion, Udalguri district gained strong representation with four MCLAs joining the executive council. Rihon Daimary became Deputy Chief (Agriculture), Lwmsrao Daimary got Land Revenue & Disaster Management, Fresh Muchahari received Water Resources, and Tridip Daimary was elected Speaker. The move strengthens Udalguri’s role in decision-making, with locals urging the establishment of a Mini BTC Secretariat for faster regional development.
