Unidentified Miscreants Target AJP Workers’ Homes Ahead of Polls in Assam

Ahead of polling, tensions escalated in Naharkatia, Dibrugarh district, as four houses belonging to Assam Jatiya Parishad (AJP) workers were set ablaze by unidentified assailants. The targeted residences include those of key aides to AJP candidate Lurinjyoti Gogoi, intensifying the already charged electoral environment. Condemning the violence, Gogoi called for swift action against the perpetrators while rallying his supporters to remain steadfast in the face of adversity.
