Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal Reports Substantial Asset Surge Ahead of Lok Sabha Polls

Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, disclosed a substantial increase in his assets over the past three years. In his affidavit submitted for the Dibrugarh Lok Sabha constituency candidacy, Sonowal declared movable assets worth approximately Rs 1.64 crore and immovable assets, including agricultural and non-agricultural land, valued at Rs 3.11 crore. His total assets now stand at around Rs 4.76 crore, showcasing a notable rise of Rs 1.59 crore since 2021 when his assets were reported at Rs 3.17 crore.
