Witnesses Tell Singapore Court Zubeen Garg Did Not Appear Intoxicated

Seven witnesses at the second hearing of the Singapore Coroner’s Court inquiry said singer Zubeen Garg did not smell of alcohol or appear intoxicated when he arrived at Capo Bay Marina on the day of his death. Most witnesses stated he took only small sips, though one claimed he appeared tipsy. Testimonies said Garg initially wore a life jacket but later removed it and refused to wear one before his second swim. These accounts contrast with earlier police evidence that toxicology reports showed a high blood alcohol level. The inquiry is ongoing.
