Woman Alleges Rape by Lover in Gossaigaon; Accused Absconding

A 22-year-old woman from Gossaigaon accused Safiqul Islam of raping her thrice in a forest near Golakganj. He lured her under the pretext of marriage, with help from his brother-in-law. Locals intervened, but the accused fled. The woman was later assaulted by the accused’s family. Police have launched an investigation; both accused are absconding.
