Woman Passes APSC Exam, Leaves Husband with Gold and Cash
A shocking incident has emerged involving a woman who passed the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) exam and left her husband, Rekib Ahmed, under the pretext of training. She absconded with gold worth Rs 3.50 lakh and Rs 2 lakh in cash, along with other valuables.
The couple met while studying at Gauhati University in 2011–12, with Rekib supporting her financially throughout their relationship, including covering her APSC coaching expenses. The woman worked at a leading APSC coaching institute in Guwahati’s Chandmari area, where she kept her husband’s identity a secret.
Despite Rekib questioning her about this secrecy, she allegedly threatened to commit suicide. Left with no other option, Rekib filed a complaint at Chandmari police station.
