Woman Police Constable Found Dead in Guwahati, Colleague Arrested

Guwahati: A woman police constable, identified as Dipamoni Hira (26), was found dead at her rented accommodation in the Panikhaiti area on Sunday. Police recovered a note from the scene and have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of death.

Based on the contents of the alleged note, police arrested Constable Mrigen Boro of Jorabat Police Station for questioning. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination, and further investigation is underway.
