Youth Arrested for Slitting Ex-Girlfriend’s Throat in Jorhat

In Jorhat’s Rajabari area, Rohit Rajput allegedly attacked his 17-year-old ex-girlfriend by slitting her throat with a blade after a breakup. The assault occurred while the victim was heading to the bathroom. Despite her attempts to end contact, Rajput continued to harass her. The victim survived and was treated at Jorhat Medical College. Police arrested the accused following a complaint from her family.
