Youth Detained for Allegedly Attacking Parents in Maligaon

Guwahati: A youth, identified as Shubham Singh, was detained after he allegedly attacked his parents with a sharp weapon at their home in the Adingiri Hills area of Maligaon.

Both victims, Jagadish Singh and Usha Singh, sustained critical injuries and were admitted to a private hospital. Police have registered a case, while locals alleged the accused was addicted to drugs.
