Youth Dies in Udalguri Road Accident, Drunk Driving Suspected

Abhijit Sarma, a private company employee, died after a speeding Toyota Fortuner hit his motorcycle on the Udalguri-Tamulpur road Wednesday night. His friend, Deepjyoti Sarma, sustained severe injuries.

Eyewitnesses reported the Fortuner driver was intoxicated during the crash. Despite prompt medical attention, Abhijit succumbed to his injuries at a Mangaldai hospital. Police are investigating the incident.
