Youth Drowns in Dibru River, Body Recovered by Rescue Team

In a tragic incident on Thursday, a youth named Sanjay Sharma, aged 33, went missing after drowning in the Dibru River at Nazirating Tamuli Tourist Spot in Digboi, Assam. The incident occurred while he was taking a bath with his friends. The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) promptly initiated a rescue operation, but due to darkness, the search was temporarily halted. The operation resumed the following day, successfully recovering Sanjay Sharma’s body.
