Youth Stabbed While Foiling Theft Attempt in Guwahati

A youth, Rohit Das, was seriously injured after being attacked with a sharp weapon while trying to stop a theft at a namghar in Lachit Nagar, Guwahati during Bihu celebrations.

The accused, who allegedly assaulted a caretaker and attempted to steal iron grills, stabbed Rohit multiple times when confronted. He was rushed to hospital with grievous injuries.
