Zoramthanga Receives Degree Certificate from Gauhati University After Six Decades

Guwahati: Former Mizoram Chief Minister and MNF president Zoramthanga received his B.A. degree certificate from Gauhati University nearly 60 years after completing his final examination in 1966. The certificate was presented during a programme at the Phanidhar Dutta Seminar Hall.

Zoramthanga, who could not collect his certificate after joining the MNF movement and going underground, also delivered a special lecture titled “From Guerrilla Fighter to a Peacemaker.” The programme reflected on his personal journey and Mizoram’s transition from conflict to peace.
