Zubeen Garg Trust Formed to Preserve Singer’s Legacy

Family and friends of late Zubeen Garg announced the formation of the Zubeen Garg Trust to preserve his creative legacy and continue his work in music, culture, and public life.
Zubeen’s wife Garima Saikia Garg said the Trust will operate from his Kharguli residence and include three wings, bringing the Kalaguru Artiste Foundation, Abhinaya Jonkie Borthakur Performing Arts Academy, and a research wing under one umbrella. The Trust will focus on social, cultural, conservation activities, support young talent, and protect Zubeen Garg’s intellectual property.
Family members and close associates said the initiative aims to carry forward his ideals, philanthropic spirit, and unfinished creative works, including plans to document and complete several of his songs.
