Zubeen’s Family Urges End to Politics Over His Death

Zubeen Garg’s family has expressed dismay over political parties using his death for political gain. His uncle, Manoj Barthakur, said Zubeen always avoided politics and wrote, “Politics nakariba bandhu.” He urged all parties to unite for an impartial probe instead of mudslinging. Barthakur also condemned social media posts targeting Zubeen’s wife and asked people to share information only with the SIT. He added that Zubeen’s manager, now arrested, controlled his finances and called for the government to secure Zubeen’s intellectual property rights for the family.
