₹400 Cr GST Fraud Uncovered in Assam; Two Arrested

A ₹400 crore GST scam involving fake invoices by non-existent firms, Adi Enterprise and PS Enterprise, has been exposed in Lakhimpur district. A departmental probe revealed fraudulent tax credit claims and suspicious trade routes. Investigations confirmed the firms were fake, manipulating invoices without actual transactions. The GST Intelligence Directorate arrested the owners, Aniket Swacharia and Pritam Swacharia, in Guwahati.
