10 Arrested After Policeman Injured in Hailakandi Village Clash

Ten people were arrested after a violent clash in Mohammadpur Part I village, Hailakandi, left a policeman seriously injured. The incident occurred when a police team tried to control a dispute between two families over betel nut plucking at Siraj Uddin’s residence. Villagers attacked the officers with lathis and sharp weapons, injuring several, including the vehicle driver. Police have launched an investigation and said more arrests are likely.
