10 Lakh fake currency seized in Meghalaya

Two men were apprehended by police on Thursday night near Bajengdoba after a joint police operation between the North and West Garo Hills districts discovered them carrying a whopping Rs. 10.35 lakh in counterfeit Indian currency.

Police encountered two people during a surprise check, and after searching them, they discovered multiple bundles of fake Rs 500 notes.
