10 NFR Stations Receive ‘Eat Right Station’ Certification

Northeast Frontier Railway has received the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India’s “Eat Right Station” certification for 10 railway stations and a divisional canteen under the Lumding Division.

The certification, valid till March 2028, was awarded after an audit of food stalls, catering units and hygiene standards by Food Safety and Standards Authority of India.

Stations including Silchar, Karimganj, New Haflong, Diphu and Lumding were among those certified under the “Eat Right India” initiative.
