10 Officers Granted Bail in APSC Job Scam Case

The Guwahati Special Court granted bail to 10 gazetted officers not named in the final charge sheet of the APSC cash-for-job scam. Each officer submitted a Rs. 30,000 surety and must reappear on November 8. Meanwhile, seven charge-sheeted officers requested to defer their court appearance. The court had earlier taken suo moto cognisance of the 10 officers left out by the SIT, along with nine others mentioned in the Biplab Kumar Sharma Commission’s report.
