14 Bangladeshi Nationals Arrested in Assam for Illegal Entry

Assam Police apprehended 14 Bangladeshi nationals in Hatsingimari, South Salmara district, who entered India through Meghalaya. Fake Aadhaar cards were found with nine individuals. The group, previously working in Tamil Nadu, was deported to Bangladesh through the BSF. This brings the total deportations to 86 since unrest began in Bangladesh. Assam DGP GP Singh emphasized the need for stricter border vigilance.
