16-Year-Old Boy Dies After Mob-Lynching Incident in Bongaigaon

Iyasin Ali, a 16-year-old student, succumbed to injuries on Sunday night after being brutally attacked in a mob-lynching incident on July 21 in Abadi village, Bongaigaon district. The attack followed a dispute over a goat belonging to Iyasin’s father, Gazir Ali. Iyasin was assaulted by farm owner Alam Ali and his companions while on his way to tuition. Seven family members were injured in the chaos. Despite medical efforts, Iyasin passed away on July 28. The community demands a thorough investigation and strict punishment for those responsible.
