18-Year-Old Injured in Suspected Hit-and-Run in Guwahati

Guwahati: An 18-year-old youth, identified as Harshit Bora, was seriously injured after a speeding truck allegedly hit his scooty beneath the Rukminigaon flyover on Friday.

Bora was rushed to Down Town Hospital for treatment after local residents came to his aid. The truck driver reportedly fled the spot following the collision.

A team from Dispur Police Station reached the location and began an investigation to identify the vehicle and trace the driver. Further details are awaited.
