24-Hour Bandh Called in Sagalee Over Local Issues

Sagalee: The All Sagalee Students’ Union (ASSU) has called a 24-hour bandh in Sagalee, Papum Pare district, demanding action on concerns related to health, education, administration, infrastructure, land protection, banking services and environmental conservation.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner and local police had appealed to the union to withdraw or defer the bandh in the public interest. With the shutdown underway, commuters travelling between Itanagar, Seppa and Pakke Kessang have been advised to use alternative routes.
