25 Assam Personnel Honored for Exceptional Service

Twenty-five personnel from Assam will receive prestigious medals on Republic Day for their contributions to police, fire services, home guard, and civil defence.

Notably, DIG Indrani Baruah will be awarded the President’s Medal for Distinguished Service for her leadership and dedication. Fourteen police officers, seven fire service personnel, and three home guard and civil defence members will receive medals for meritorious service.

In addition, five officers will be honored with Police Gallantry Medals for extraordinary bravery.
