5 government officials arrested for taking bribe in Assam

Assam directorate of vigilance and anti-corruption arrested five government officials and a driver after catching them red-handed while allegedly accepting bribes in the last 48 hours in separate cases in Kamrup (Metro), Nagaon and Goalpara districts.

ADGP (Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption) Surendra Kumar tweeted that three of these officials were nabbed on Friday and the other two on Thursday.
