A magnitude 5.2 earthquake jolts Meghalaya’s North Garo Hills

On Monday, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 on the Richter scale struck the northeastern state of Meghalaya. The quake was reported around 6:15 p.m. from the North Garo Hills, according to the National Centre for Seismology.
