Assam Floods: 6 Dead, Thousands Affected Across 10 Districts

Floods in Assam have claimed five lives in Cachar district and one in Kamrup (metro) district due to urban flooding. The Kopili and Kushiyara rivers are flowing above danger levels, affecting 4.23 lakh people across 10 districts. Significant infrastructure damage has been reported, and 240 relief camps have been established, sheltering 32,000 people. The situation remains critical as efforts continue to provide relief and mitigate the damage.
