Neiphiu Rio Calls for Inclusive Solution to Indo-Naga Political Issue

KOHIMA: Nagaland Chief Minister and Naga People’s Front (NPF) president Dr. Neiphiu Rio has called for an honourable, inclusive and mutually acceptable solution to the decades-old Indo-Naga political issue while addressing the party’s 64th Foundation Day at Capital Cultural Hall.
Rio urged all negotiating parties, civil society groups and tribal bodies to prioritise the aspirations of the Naga people. He said the NPF would continue playing a facilitator’s role while development initiatives in education, healthcare, infrastructure and youth entrepreneurship proceed alongside the peace process.
