Main Accused in Hatigaon Murder Case Arrested After Two Years

Guwahati Police have arrested Sukaiman Ali, the main accused in the sensational Hatigaon murder case, after two years. Ali was wanted for the 2022 murder of a eunuch named Bijulee Kinnar.

The incident occurred at a rented accommodation in the Sijubari locality of Hatigaon, where Kinnar’s body was found. Initially thought to be a case of food poisoning, the discovery of liquor bottles at the crime scene led to a deeper investigation, revealing foul play. Suspicion fell on Ali due to his absence during the initial investigation. Further police work uncovered crucial evidence, resulting in his arrest.
