Armed Robbery in Kalain: Businessman Loses Cash and Gold

In the early hours of Monday, an armed group of 15 robbers broke into the home of Brahmangram village businessman Niben Chandra Roy. They looted Rs 11 lakh in cash and gold ornaments, then moved to his nearby shop and stole an additional Rs 70,000. The robbers tied Roy and his father, holding his family hostage while ransacking the house. An FIR was filed with the local police. Some ornaments and live bullets were later found in Kurkuri area.
