Suspected Food Poisoning in Bezera Hospitalizes Over 50

Over 50 people, including four children, were hospitalized in Bezera, Baihat Chariali, due to suspected food poisoning after consuming chickpeas as prasad. Five critical patients were referred to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital. The town has faced recurring food poisoning incidents, with a previous case in December 2023 affecting over 100 people.
