Awareness Camp at ISBT Promotes Single-Use Plastic Ban

Brief: On August 9, an awareness camp against Single-Use Plastic (SUP) was held at ISBT as part of the Safai Apnao, Bimaari Bhagao Campaign under Swachh Survekshan 2024. The event, attended by ISBT Divisional Superintendent Manishi Nahor Deka, RJ Gaurav, environmentalist Partha Hazarika, and others, included a waste management quiz for tourists and bus operators. Participants received GMC t-shirts and reusable bags. Four Safai Mitras were honored as Safai Champions, aiming to motivate all Safai Karmacharis of GMC.
