Arunachal Village Conservation Film Shortlisted for Global Sustainability Award

The film Gobuk-Harmony in the Highlands, documenting conservation efforts in Gobuk village, Arunachal Pradesh, has been shortlisted for the TVE Global Sustainability Films Awards 2024. Produced by Tezpur-based Green Hub fellows Stanzin Tandup and Pauzatuala Suante, it competes in the ‘Young Filmmaker Short Film Award’ category.

The film highlights the village’s initiatives to conserve biodiversity and promote nature-linked livelihoods through responsible tourism. It also showcases the work of Epum Sirum Welfare Society and the involvement of local youth in conservation efforts.
