25th Hornbill Festival Draws Over 100,000 Visitors in Six Days
The 25th Hornbill Festival, celebrating Nagaland’s vibrant cultural heritage, began on December 1, 2024, in Kohima and will run until December 10. Known as the “Festival of Festivals,” it showcases tribal music, dance, ethnic cuisine, crafts, rock concerts, and fashion shows.
By December 6, the festival had attracted 101,496 visitors, including domestic and foreign tourists. The Directorate of Tourism anticipates growing attendance, highlighting the event’s global appeal and cultural significance.
