Foundation Stone Laid for Beautification of Siu-Ka-Pha Moidam

Assam’s Revenue Minister Jogen Mohan laid the foundation stone for the beautification of Swargadeo Chaolung Siu-Ka-Pha Moidam at Charaideo World Heritage Site. The Tai Ahom Development Council allocated ₹1.8 crore for the first phase, covering 30 bighas. Mohan highlighted Siu-Ka-Pha’s contributions to Assamese unity and vowed further steps to enhance the site. TADC Chairman Mayur Borgohain announced a total allocation of ₹5 crore for conservation and beautification efforts. The site had faced neglect and alleged encroachments in the past.
