Royal Bengal Tiger Found Dead in Biswanath Wildlife Division

A semi-decomposed carcass of a Royal Bengal Tiger was found at Polokata Tapu under Ferengadau anti-poaching camp in Biswanath Wildlife Division. The body was intact, with no signs of poaching.

Veterinary doctors conducted a post-mortem, and samples were sent for forensic analysis. Officials suspect the sub-adult tiger may have died due to an attack by another animal. The remains were cremated as per NTCA guidelines.

The incident follows a similar tiger death in Orang National Park last month. Authorities have intensified monitoring to protect big cats in the region.
