Cabinet Approves ₹10,601 Crore Fertilizer Plant at BVFCL Namrup

The Union Cabinet has approved a ₹10,601.40 crore ammonia-urea plant at BVFCL Namrup, Assam, with 12.7 LMT annual urea capacity. The project, under a joint venture, will be completed in 48 months. Equity shares: Assam Govt 40%, BVFCL 11%, HURL 13%, NFL 18%, and OIL 18%. The plant will boost urea supply in Northeast and eastern India.
