Kamrup (Metro) DTO Sets Record with ₹534.68 Crore Revenue Collection

The District Transport Office (DTO), Kamrup (Metro), has collected a record ₹534.68 crore in revenue for 2024-25, surpassing last year’s ₹470 crore. The Registration and Permit Branch collected ₹500 crore, the Enforcement Branch ₹31.83 crore, and the Regional Transport Authority ₹2.06 crore. DTO Gautam Das credited officials, enforcement inspectors, and responsible vehicle owners for the achievement. He urged continued compliance with transport rules to support Assam’s road safety initiatives.
