Newborn Sold for ₹2 Lakh Near GMCH; Police Launch Probe

Bhangagarh police are probing the sale of a newborn girl near GMCH on March 30. The parents allegedly sold the baby for ₹2 lakh to a childless couple from Nalbari, citing they already had two daughters. A woman mediator has been detained. Nalbari police have booked the buyer and his brother.
