Assam Police’s STF arrested a key accused in an inter-state SIM card racket aiding cybercriminals, including Pakistan nationals. The arrest, under ‘Operation Ghost SIM’, took place in Dhubri with Military Intelligence input. Seized items include SIM-linked devices and fake IDs. Total arrests now stand at 11. The racket spanned Assam, Rajasthan, and Telangana.
