AGP Leader Pramod Bhengra Seeks Rajya Sabha Nomination

Pramod Bhengra, president of AGP’s tea cell and Assam State Youth Commission member, has sought nomination for a Rajya Sabha seat. A long-time AGP member from the tea garden community, Bhengra urged the party to consider representation for his community, which he says has been overlooked despite its large population in Upper Assam. AGP, which holds one Rajya Sabha seat, has formed a committee to finalize its candidate by June 9.
